Gravimetric Mould Filling Device for the Production of Cathodes

Function:

Cathode mass is fed onto a stationary belt from a charging station using differential dosing and then fed onto a mobile dosing belt.

Once the mass reaches the mobile belt, the belt moves to the start of the mould and the belt drive is switched on.

During forward travelling of the belt, cathode mass is filled into the mould using differential dosing. At the same time, the delivery rate of the charging system and the conveying rate of the stationary belt are increased.

Once the target cathode mass has been reached, the charging system is switched off under consideration of trailing.

Afterwards, mass is provided to the mould using differential dosing in reversing. This method ensures that the mould is filled uniformly.
